ABOUT UTR:
The United Teachers of Richmond is made up of nearly 1,700 K-12 teachers, Counselors, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Early Childhood Educators, and Nurses serving the West Contra Costa Unified School District.
The Executive Board is elected by the membership and is charged with coordinating the activities of the Association.
The Representative Council establishes the policies and objectives of the Association. We are a chartered chapter of the California Teachers Association (CTA), and an affiliated local association of the National Education Association (NEA).
