We will be endorsing two candidates.

At our last Representative Council (5/25) we voted to endorse Peter Chau if he decides to run for School Board.  Our PAC will continue to work over the next few weeks to find and vet another candidate since there are two positions coming open.  We also passed a resolution on the expansion of the charter school system within WCCUSD.  Here is the resolution:

Our Political Action Committee is working with our Executive Board to go through the School Board Candidate endorsement process.  We will present our decision for a vote at the May 25, Rep. Council.

Currently we have members circulating petitions to extend Prop. 30, the Children’s Education and Health Care Protection Act.  You can read it here: Children’s Education and Health Care Protection Act

If you are a UTR member, ask your site Rep. if you can sign.  If you would like to help circulate petitions, call the office (222-5112) and we will get some petitions to you.
